What is hand embellishing (H.E.)?

The artist has taken the print and applied paint to specific areas of the prints for additional enhancement. Embellishing with paint emphasizes certain areas and adds light to heavy texture to the print. It also makes this particular print one of a kind because no two prints are embellished exactly the same.

This technique heightens the attractiveness of the piece by adding ornamental details to increase or improve in value, quality, desirability and attractiveness.
